To expand on this, hes more like the main character in a normal video game as opposed to the faceless protagonist that exists only to bang the women you get in most lewd games. Hes heavily involved in the plot.

Somehow that's even worse ...well whatever, I've already lost interest. For comparison's sake, this isn't an issue with Ninja Maidens or Project QT.

With NM, it's pretty much full-yuri and/or solo scenes. The only time male characters are even hinted to exist is during some conversations and shadowy back/foreground figures in some exhibitionist scenes, but at no point do any actually participate, they're NPCs all the way. They're so committed to "no dicks allowed" even that they *didn't* make the tanuki gal into the token futa.

For PQT, there's a "you" that's meant to be male, but the majority of your involvement is poorly translated and stupid dialogue. There *are* scenes involving you "in the flesh", but they're ironically the hardest scenes to unlock due to the grind (or money) required to get them, otherwise the bulk of content is solo animations, some yuri with duo heroes, and "at worst" you have disembodied ghost dicks during all of the monster girl scenes.

I've heard of Nutaku, but I've never played anything from them and I have no idea how they handle the games they localize.

"Hit or miss, but mostly miss" would be the best way to describe them. You either end up with okay-ish gameplay but boring/awful porn, or good porn but grindy/pay-to-win gameplay.

In all my years of dealing with them, I could count on one hand the number of games I actually enjoyed (and no, it's not because the other hand was busy).

Just treat them like a novelty and not an investment, and be mindful of your device's volume control at all times.

Eh, I still have it installed, but to what end I don't know.

It's only two events so far have been ass for newbies/non-whales, I don't get much out of doing sub level 14 Infinite Wars nearly every week, I'm never getting out of silver rank for PVP, and I've been farming mod chips/gear essence for weeks now trying to get stronger *somehow* because it turns out locking character progression to their available weapons is fucking awful when you're perpetually stuck at 2-3*.

I think the only highlight recently was getting Celeste's maid costume, only to then be disappointed that it doesn't change her appearance on the home screen like Sarah's cheerleader one did. Vloody hell, Arknights at least gave you new profile art along with changing the battle sprite, and BD can't use the excuse "but our larger art is animated" when there's less than two dozen characters and I *know* they've got tons of whale money, and if it ain't going towards gameplay, it damn well might as well be going towards cosmetics.

Bleh, I think the honeymoon is over for me.

Yeah, I definitely noticed this too. Unless there's some kind of big log-in giveaway (like a couple of weeks ago) or you have the monthly pass going, your gem input comes to a screeching halt.

I hadn't noticed the lack of gems, but then, I haven't had anything to spend them on recently. Thus far I've only dropped some on those rate-up supply chest banners for Fran and Celeste, and in both cases I never got a complete set so I kinda started ignoring the other banners to save up until they repeat.

BD is in a weird place right now. They've made all their events last so long that if you're not into the current one much, there really isn't much to do aside from the glorious 3 per week IW runs.

The problem is that Battle Divas events have huge difficulty walls, this crap with the rapid-spawn robots has reached Arknights levels of annoyance for me.

I mean, getting maximum risk is challenging and requires you to have at least some high-tier characters, but the way that the event is set up, doing it at maximum difficulty isn't necessary to get a large portion of the rewards. Like, here's a guy doing it at Risk 12/18, which should be something like 80-85% of the bounty from the permanent stage (not including challenge contracts) with nothing but 3* characters:

They have extra sanity pots for the duration of the event too so it's easier to upgrade your characters.

Upgrading characters is all I've done during this event though, because I didn't have any viable *4 beyond Cuora, Jessica, Gavial, and Courier before it started. Hell, even with the *3 I was caught unprepared.

No built Spot or Midnight, no Cardigan *at all*, and now I find out I might need Ethan so that's sanity syphoned away chasing after shop vouchers too.

Fuck this, there's not even a carrot anymore, it's just a stick they keep beating me with these last few events. I don't play games to be frustrated, so I'm just going to drop Arknights already and quit with the complaints.

I've hated all the maps so far.

Only thing I'm getting out of this is the meager "finish Practice mode" rewards and even then, apparently "finish" also includes "die miserably" because that's all I can manage to do. Even at 0 contracts and the support bonus active I haven't beaten a single one yet.

I don't know how the hell other people elsewhere are calling this the "easiest" event ever, it's been fucking maddening for me in ways Lava Mama Slug and Rat King never were. (Probably because it's generic mobs and not bosses that are throttling me.)

hm, shouldn't be that hard unless you're pretty underleveled, and the rewards drop off as Risk gets higher so you shouldn't need to beat it with too much.

My problem is that I don't have the "correct" Operators. Pretty much every guide involves a bunch of *4 I don't have.

Fucking hell, the last two events at least waited until the end to shut me out, this one just said "fuck off" right out the gate.

EX-3 is another one, there's a beefy enemy that walks on a path that you can't deploy any melee operators on to block him; the solution is to use Rope and pull him onto actual tiles.

Ugh, there's a map like that I'm stuck on (CB-EX4), where every guide so far involves push/pull BS to kill half of the mobs.

And no auto push/pull either, but pixel perfect manual skill use or you're dead.
